Dayton currently serves as a Director of Senior Assistance Program at Silver Key Senior Services and holds a B.A. in Psychology with a Minor in Gerontology from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. He is responsible for overseeing the development, administration, and implementation of Case Management, Guardianship, Silver Key SOS, Food Pantry/Government Food Programs, Senior Housing Navigation, and Information & Referral. He also acts as guardian to court-appointed wards for seniors in El Paso County.
Dayton has worked on many interdisciplinary teams across different sectors, and appreciates the power of collaboration. Through his role as a director he has informed, educated, and empowered people about health issues through case management staff and has trained over 2000 people in the Pikes Peak region since 2015.
In addition to Dayton’s role as a Director, he is a data base administrator and data analyst for Silver Key. He currently serves as Co-Chair of the Pikes Peak Elder Abuse Coalition, secretary of the Colorado Coalition for Elder Rights & Abuse Prevention, and is also an active member of the El Paso County Adult Protection Team, Community Advisory Committee for Rocky Mountain Options Long Term Care, and the Community Ethics Advisory Committee.
Dayton enjoys running, spending time with family, and the beautiful outdoors of Colorado Springs.
